As always there were lots of projects in various stages of progress....
CB needed to get the binding on this motocross quilt....surely this was possible in one day?
CD was rapidly converting these strips from old shirts into a strippy quilt....( I do hope she asked him indoors permission before she started chopping up his old shirts!)
AB continued to quilt a Christmas quilt, determined to have this finished for next year!
HT pushed on with adding cup cakes to a quilt fora granddaughter that has already grown out of the hungry caterpillar....
And HW made steady progress on another panel of her north country strippy quilt...
We were all so busy we barely noticed the time fly by...and were suddenly SOOOOO hungry that we fell on the soup and (possibly the best looking loaf of bread EVER) like we hadn't eaten fora week. Certainly no time for photographs before we tucked in!
Look! 5 a day in action!!!
The afternoon brought a welcome face-time chat with EL who has been quilting to the sight of dolphins and amazing sunsets and had a crochet scarf blocking on a towel on the balcony in the Florida sunshine! We Soooooo need to win the lottery and join her for a week!
There was an afternoon Ta-dah"I've nearly finished from CD...
and much admiring of CB's finished wholecloth quilt.. .although the general consensus was that she should paint the wall red to help the red stitching stand out even more than it already does.
All in all it was a lovely chatty, productive day...does anyone mind if I just relax here, read these magazines and finish the flapjacks?
