Mad as a March Hare!

 

We all got together on the 28th March to celebrate cutting up bits of fabric and sewing them together, making strange knots out of pretty coloured wool and other wild creative and innovative things....hmmmm

We also celebrated a birthday and found our friend on the other side of the pond, doing show and tell!

HW was otherwise engaged in an un-bee-liveable day of sharing the delights of beekeeping.

So what did we get up to I hear you ask....

CD was working on the beautiful caramel and blue table runner, that she was making for fund raising.

CB was creating more wonderful sparkly pretty Stilettos for fund raising, in a wide variety of stunning colours using found beads, that people had donated to various charity shops.



A rainbow of colours and lots of different uses...! 



CB was also working on this blanket of sea themed blues...wow!

HT was working on wedding bunting



An array of pink and champagne.....Lucky Bride!

AB Continues with her art work entitled "work in progress"

 

Then we all stopped for a lovely lunch of Minted Pea Soup with a selection of wonderful mixed breads followed by a lovely dessert.
 

Then we sang Happy Birthday to CD, the girlie of the moment, sharing it with cake and pressies  with the delectable EL in "Cold only 23 degrees" Florida!

Lovely Pressies for a lovely girl and the sun all the way from Florida, with Love!



And modelling her gorgeous, green Mary Jane slippers gift.....

 





And so we eagerly look forward to our next get together and another productive day!
